Sanford Wellness Center Youth Classes

49th & Oxbow Location

Hi 5 FitnessA 45-minute class for ages 3-5 that will help your children learn to love exercise at an early age and promote a healthier lifestyle. This high energy class is tons on fun as children get to participate in different activities, including basic tumbling, balancing, stretching, tag games, ball games, bouncy house and more. Tennis shoes and socks are required. Children must be potty trained.

K & Up Fit ‘N Fun: A 45 minute exercise class geared toward kids kindergarten and up. Activities include relay races, challenge courses, and many games, all using the “everybody wins” concept. Kids will learn lifetime locomotor skills while they have fun and get fit!

JR Dungeon:  For ages 7 and up. Join us for an ever-changing array of organized agility drills and action-packed activities!

Youth Triathlon Training Program: There are a variety of options throughout the year.

Open Time: Kids ages 6-11 years of age may use kids gym unsupervised.

Tea-Ellis Location

Hi 5 Fitness: A 45-minute class for ages 3-5 that will help your children learn to love exercise at an early age and promote a healthier lifestyle. This high energy class is tons on fun as children get to participate in different activities, including basic tumbling, balancing, stretching, tag games, ball games, bouncy house and more. Sign up is required in Kidzone and will begin 45 minutes prior to class. There is a maximum of 12 children for class. Tennis shoes and socks are required. Children must be potty trained.

Youth Challenge: A 45-minute youth class for ages 6-11 designed to incorporate strength training and cardio through games and activities. Sign up is required at the front desk and will begin 30 minutes prior to class. There is a maximum of 14 children for class. Tennis shoes and socks are required.

Youth Circuit: A 45-minute youth class for ages 8-12 introducing kids to circuit training. Sign up will take place at the front desk and will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Tennis shoes are required.

Youth On the Rise: A new challenge for our youth to stay active by completing 50 classes.

Water Play Time: This is a non-structured time for ages 3-5 to play in the zero depth area of the pool. We will provide a lifeguard and toys to play with during this time. Children must be potty trained. Sign up is required in the Pool area and will begin 30 minutes prior to class. There is maximum of 10 children for class.

Youth Activity Schedule 

 

Karate

Sanford Wellness Center on Tea-Ellis offers karate for ages 7 and up on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30-6:30 pm. Karate is available for members and non-members. Please sign up at the member services desk.
